Rainier-Sinfonie

Since its founding in 1981, Rainier Symphony has delighted audiences with its world-class performances. Made up of more than 70 musicians, it celebrates both artistry and community spirit. The season runs from fall through spring, typically consisting of 8-10 concerts including classical symphonies, holiday standbys, and pop culture favorites. Concerts take place at The Foster Performing Arts Center in Tukwila, a 500-seat performing arts center with great acoustics and a relaxed environment.

A Range of Musical Styles: Each season brings new songs and surprises, from Debussy and Mendelssohn to contemporary composers and Blockbuster movie scores.

World-Classic Music at Wallet-Friendly Prices: Single tickets are $25, with discounts for students and seniors, making it much more affordable than many comparable symphonies.

Community Driven: The orchestra includes a wide range of professionals, including local teachers, students, physicians, engineers, and music enthusiasts who share a passion for classical symphonic music. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, its performances are made possible by a generous network of supporters, including cultural organizations and audience members. Their concerts are truly a gift from the community, for the community.
